(Jackson, Wyo.) - Starting today at 10 a.m., the Art Association will kick off their 50th Anniversary of the Art Fair of Jackson Hole. To celebrate, the Art Association has introduced some new activities and specials. For the first time, the Art Fair is holding a happy hour for locals. From 4-6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, they are offering free admission for locals. "As a thanks for the years of support that the community has provided, we wanted to do something a little special for our locals," said Valerie Goettler, marketing coordinator for the Art Association of Jackson Hole. During the Art Fair, there will also be several local food venders serving from food trucks along Jackson Street. Additionally, cool local bands playing throughout the weekend including the Jazz Foundation of Jackson Hole on Saturday afternoon from 3 - 7 p.m. And don't forget to bring the kids. The Art Association's 50th Anniversary Art Fair is July 8-10 at Miller
Park. Friday and Saturday, the hours are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., and on Sunday 10
a.m. - 4 p.m. The event is free for Art Association members, $5 for
non-members, and kids 10 and under and free.
