Grand Teton Brewing wins 3 medals at U.S. Open Beer Championship

(Victor, Idaho) - In the 2016 U.S. Open Beer Championship, three of Grand Teton Brewing’s beers were awarded medals. Black Cauldron won a Gold Medal, while Ale 208 and Double Vision each won Bronze Medals. Ale 208 won the Bronze Medal in the English Summer Ale category. Ale 208 previously won a Silver Medal at the 2014 Great American Beer Festival®. This session ale is part of Grand Teton Brewing’s Signature Series of beers and is available year-round in Idaho. Grand Teton Brewing’s Cellar Reserve Series has an award-winning tradition that continues with two new awards at this year’s U.S. Open Beer Championship. Black Cauldron Imperial Stout won the gold in the Foreign Stout category and Double Vision Doppelbock won the bronze in the Dopple/Strong Bock category. According to the U.S. Open Beer Championship press release, breweries from Maui to Munich sent in almost 5,000 beers representing over 90 different styles for the 2016 U.S. Open Beer Championship. This competition includes professional breweries and award-winning home-brewers.
