TCSD COO Brad Barker Announces Resignation

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Chief Operating Officer, Brad Barker announced Tuesday that he will be leaving TCSD in December. Serving Teton County School District No. 1 since November 2014, Mr. Barker has been in charge of the operational aspects of the district, overseeing facilities management, finance, human resources, transportation and food service. During his tenure the district brought to a close the five-year search for land on which to construct a much needed new elementary school to address our serious capacity issues. In his resignation announcement Brad stated, "I remain committed to furthering the goals of the District and will maintain the same level of commitment for the remainder of my service. Thank you all for your selfless commitment to the District in the interest of our community and our kids. I am extremely grateful for all that you do and the honor to have served with each of you." Patricia Russell, Chair of the Board of Trustees stated, "On behalf of the Board and the entire district, thank you, Brad, for your service to TCSD and we wish you and your family well as you move on to a new career path. In the coming months district staff will begin discussing a transition plan to fill the anticipated vacancy.
