CF Stinson Captures Two Prestigious Nightingale Awards at the Healthcare Design Conference (Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center booth 1823)

Orlando -- CF Stinson, a leading resource for commercial textiles for more than 60 years, announced today that the company captured two prestigious Nightingale at the annual Healthcare Design Conference. Stinson’s Project ICU (intensive care upholstery) won a Nightingale Gold Award in the fabrics and textiles category, and Stinson 5.0 + See, Sample, Spec won an innovation award in the technology and integrated solutions category. Held at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, November 11-14, the annual Healthcare Design Conference is sponsored by Healthcare Design Magazine and is the premier design exposition and conference for healthcare interiors in North America.

Presented by Healthcare Design and Contract in partnership with the Center for Health Design, the Nightingale Awards recognize contribution to the healthcare built environment through product design and innovation that contributes to healing. Named in honor of Florence Nightingale, and initiated by Contract magazine’s editors and The Center for Health Design’s founders in 1990, the Nightingale Awards recognize products that are juried by seasoned healthcare design professionals and healthcare facility managers. The jury makes selections based on the product’s contribution to a healing environment, functionality, quality and durability, aesthetics and style, pricing, and innovation.

About Project ICU

Curated as a total package, Project ICU features eight of Stinson’s most popular coated fabrics specifically designed for healthcare environments. From deep, saturated jewel tones to bright, fresh primary hues, the color range of these coated fabrics is designed to complement healing environments. Project ICU features a proportionate balance of plain, texture and pattern, including Loophole’s large sweeping scale pattern and the layered textural lines of defining the soft focus stripe in Frequency. Impress with StaKleen brings geometry and depth to a pattern that can best be described as a modern plain. Perspective, the latest design by Patty Madden, creates horizons by using a broken stripe effect. Corium, the anchor of ICU, is a non-PVC leather-like surface available in an array of 42 colorways, including 9 subtle metallic shades. All patterns are bleach cleanable, fade and stain resistant as well as GREENGUARD Certified.
