Clean Sweep Auctions Roadshow hitting Kansas City April 7 – 8 with rare Kansas City sports memorabilia and free appraisals

Two-day event will exhibit unique and coveted Kansas City sports memorabilia in addition to offering free appraisals and purchasing items for consignment to auction

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 27, 2018) –  Clean Sweep Auctions, based in Port Washington, New York, is bringing its national roadshow to the Adam’s Mark Hotel and Conference Center in Kansas City, Missouri, on Saturday, April 7 and Sunday, April 8. Roadshow attendees will have the opportunity to view and purchase items, including rare and highly coveted Kansas City sports memorabilia.

 

Additionally, at the Kansas City Roadshow, guests will have the opportunity to present their vintage collectibles and heirlooms for a free appraisal from a Clean Sweep Auctions appraiser. Many appraised items will be offered for purchase or consignment into an auction. Items open for appraisal are:


  • Vintage sports memorabilia and autographs, including pre-1980 cards of all kinds
  • Presidential and other historical autographs and memorabilia
  • Vintage Hollywood autographs and memorabilia

  • 1951 Kansas City Blues Autographs with pre-rookie Mickey Mantle, Value: $2,000


  • 1960s Kansas City A’s green baseball bat, Value: $300


  • 1915 Kansas City Federal League baseball card, Value: $200


  • 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle rookie card, PSA 2 condition, Value: $16,000


  • Mickey Mantle’s signed high school yearbook and 1952 Commerce, Oklahoma signed program, Value: $5,000


  • Jackie Robinson signed autobiography: Wait Till Next Year, Value: $1,800


  • 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth baseball card, Value: $3,500


  • Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig signed baseball, Value: $4,500


  • 1963 Cassius Clay (Muhammed Ali) autograph, Value: $1,000


  • 1948 Negro League World Series ticket, Value: $500


  • Negro League Stars baseball signed by Satchel Paige and Hilton Smith, Value: $2,000
