LVHS Students to be out Thursday evening seeking Thanksgiving Food Basket items

The Lander Valley High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and Future Farmers of America (FFA) are partnering on the school’s 2015 Thanksgiving Turkey Basket project. On Thursday, November 12th, the groups will kickoff the project with a canned food drive in which members of both clubs will be out around Lander neighborhoods from 6-8 pm knocking on doors and seeking contributions to the project. Any non-perishable food products are accepted. LVHS FFA President Mark McConnell had this to say “According to the FFA creed by E.M Tiffany, ‘I believe …In less need for charity, and more of it when needed…’ The students of the two clubs want to play a role in benefiting the community.” [image: unnamed-12.jpg] *The FBLA and FFA students from Lander Valley High are planning a non-perishable food drive Thursday evening for their annual Thanksgiving Basket Giving Program.* *Feature Photo: Two clubs at LVHS will be out this Thursday evening around Lander seeking non-perishable foot item donations for their annual Thanksgiving Basket giving program.
