Veterans honored at Lander Valley High School

The Lander Valley High School gymnasium was full of students, teachers, community members and veterans at the Veterans Day ceremony this afternoon. Veterans from all five branches of the military were present and honored. There was also a moment of silence for those who are unaccounted for. Command Sergeant Major (Ret) Kenneth V. Perrson Sr., who served in the military for 38 years, was the guest speaker. "Veterans have given us freedom, security and the greatest nation on earth, Perrson Sr. Said. "Our country needs our veterans. We serve 365 days a year, and we will never forget the sacrifices of our friends. God bless." The Wind River Tribal College Singers also performed. #county10
