THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 7 AM MST WEDNESDAY. * TIMING...SNOW WILL INCREASE ACROSS SOUTHERN FREMONT COUNTY THIS EVENING THEN TAPER OFF WEDNESDAY MORNING. * SNOWFALL...SNOWFALL OF 2 TO LOCALLY 5 INCHES IN THE LOWER ELEVATIONS WITH AROUND 8 INCHES IN THE GREEN MOUNTAINS. * WIND AND VISIBILITY...NORTHEAST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS WILL CAUSE SOME DRIFTING SNOW.
