Ethete man gets Federal prison term on assault conviction

An Ethete resident has been sentenced to 3.75 years in Federal prison on his conviction for assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to cause bodily harm. John Goodman, 21, was arrested in Riverton following an investigation by the FBI. The sentenced was handed down in Casper by U.S. District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl. In addition to the 45 months imprisonment, Goodman was ordered, upon his release, to serve three years of supervised probation. Goodman was also ordered to pay a $100 special assessment.
