Bulldogs win Class 2A Football Championship

Final Score: Wheatland Bulldogs22 Glenrock Herders 8 Glenrock scored first in the game, at the 4:38 mark of the first quarter on a one yard run and a two-point pass conversion, but from that point on Wheatland's defense held the Herders scoreless. Wheatland won the game 22-8 before 2,346 at the University of Wyoming's War Memorial Stadium. The Bulldogs trailed 8-6 at halftime following a 13 yard touchdown pass with 2:34 to go in the half, but their try for a two point conversion failed. Wheatland got the ball first to start the second half and march 64 yards on 10 plays capped with a 5 yard TD run to score the eventual winning points. This time their two point conversion was good and it was 14-8. Wheatland scored its third touchdown to start the fourth quarter with another two point conversion to make the final score 22-8.
