Cowboys at Indiana State tonight for MW/MVC Challenge

*LARAMIE, Wyo. * – The University of Wyoming men’s basketball team faces a quick turnaround for its first road game of 2015-16, as the Cowboys (1-0) play at Indiana State on Monday. The Pokes opened the season with a 101-62 victory over Bristol last Friday in the Arena-Auditorium, but now hit the road for the Mountain West-Missouri Valley Conference Challenge. The Sycamores began their season with a 72-70 home loss to IUPUI last Friday. Monday’s tip is set for 5 p.m. MT at the Hulman Center in Terre Haute, Ind. Head coach Larry Shyatt had five Cowboys score in double figures in last Friday’s 101-62 win over Bristol, as the Pokes moved to 75-36 all-time in season openers and 89-22 in home openers. The run-away victory was also Wyoming’s 13th-straight nonconference win in the Arena-Auditorium to tie for the ninth-longest streak in school history. Indiana State went 15-16 overall last season, but 11-7 in the Missouri Valley to finish third in the conference. Head coach Greg Lansing welcomed back three starters and nine letterwinners from that squad, but started the 2015-16 campaign with a 72-70 home loss to IUPUI last Friday. *Feature Photo: Coach Larry Shyatt huddled with his team during the team's exhibition opener against Fort Lewis College. * *#county10 #news*
