Dispatch: Quiet Thursday sees few arrests and calls

Here is today’s recap of law enforcement action around the county. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* *Josephine Wallowingbull*, 22, Riverton, County Warrant, Public Intoxication and Shoplifting. *Truman Spottedelk*, 33, Ethete, Public Intoxication and Open Container. The pair were arrested after police were called to Loaf N Jug at 11:05 p.m. on Thursday for a report of someone shoplifting alcohol. *Calls:* At 8:16 a.m., a caller on Vista Circle reported a $400 gray Hardrock bike with red lettering stolen. At 6:14 p.m., a caller on Goodrich returned from vacation and found damage to a door that they thought had been vandalized. It was later determined to have been high winds that caused the damage. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* *Arrests:* *Marquise Benson*, 26, Riverton, Failure to Appear. *James Blackburn*, 33, Riverton, Probation Revocation. Blackburn was arrested after deputies were called about a possible domestic assault on Snowberry Lane on Thursday morning. He was arrested for the warrant, and the assault is still under investigation. *Weldon Moss*, 31, Ethete, Contempt of Court Warrant. *Calls:* Three buckskin horses were reported missing in the Pavillion area on Thursday morning. Game and Fish personnel were called out several times for reports of either injured deer along the side of the road or stuck in fences. *Riverton Police Department* RPD reports from Thursday were not immediately available. They'll be reported when they become available. *Fremont County Ambulance* EMS crews were called out 20 times Thursday into Friday morning. *Fire Departments* A fire alarm was reported in the Fort Washakie area, and Riverton Fire handled a report of a grass fire. #county10 #news
