LANDER - The Annual Lander Ski and Gear Swap hosted by the LVHS Ski Team from 9 -11am at the Lander Valley High School Commons. Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast 8:30 - 10am: $5 per adult, $3 children 10 and under. Purchase from ski team member or at the door. Sell your old outdoor equipment and shop for great deals on used gear. Calls 307-455-2444 RIVERTON – CWC Fall Student Recital: The Central Wyoming College Visual and Performing Arts Department presents and “Jazz Night” on Friday, Nov. 20 at 7 pm. Admission for both concerts is free to the public. The Fall Music Showcase features the Handbell choir, under the direction of Sharon Dalton, the Collegiate Chorale, led by Dr. Adam Kluck, and the Community Concert Band, led by Jason Ogg. The groups will combine for a stylistically varied evening of music both old and new. Both concerts will be in the CWC Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theater, and all are invited to attend. Please note the time change, as all CWC music performances will be at 7 pm this year to appeal to younger audience members. At the United Methodist Church in Lander LANDER – Around Town: A Native American Art Show is now on at the Lander Art Center, Middle Fork Cafe and Fremont County Library – Lander. The only show of its kind, this show gives important visibility to Native American artists in Wyoming. Around Town features traditional and contemporary work from over 30 artists in multiple disciplines including film, mixed media, photography, sculpture, beadwork and paint.
