Lander FBLA keeps the Thanksgiving basket program going strong

Today after weeks of work, the Lander Valley High School Future Business Leaders of America finished the annual Thanksgiving basket project. This year, 114 boxes full of Thanksgiving meal items were built this morning and sent off for distribution to families in need in and around Lander. In 2014, 122 boxes were distributed, and in 2013 86 were given away. The baskets included a turkey, potatoes, stuffing, canned vegetables, canned fruit, bread, butter, sauce, gravy, dessert and miscellaneous items. The quantities of each depend on the size of the family being served. Boxes were made for families the size of individuals to more than 10 people.
