Saturday's travel expectations: snowy and slick

Countywide, highways this morning are classified as slick by the Wyoming Department of Transportations. And the central portion of the county and stretching west is actively experiencing snowfall. Headed toward Rock Springs? A Level 1 Chain Law is in effect for South Pass as of 9 a.m. This means vehicle must either have chains, snow tires or be all-wheel-drive. Meanwhile, most of I-25 and I-80 are reported to be slick or slick in spots, with a couple spots of blowing snow. Be safe out there today. *Image from a WYDOT webcam on Highway 789 at Riverton at 9 a.m.* #county10 #news
