Man rushed to Salt Lake City with hypothermia; Possibly struck by a vehicle

Riverton Police Captain Eric Murphy said Tuesday morning a man was found laying on Pure Gas Road just after 10 p.m. who was unconscious and who might've been struck by a vehicle. "The 41-year-old man was hypothermic when we found him and it's possible that he was struck from behind by a vehicle," Murphy said. He was found in the geneal area between the Holiday Inn and the Woodridge Apartments. After emergency treatment at SageWest's Riverton hospital, the man was taken by air ambulance to Salt Lake City. A detective from the RPD was sent to Utah to interview the man after his condition stabilized. The man's condition was not known at the RPD this morning. The case continues under investigation. *Feature Photo: A 41-year-old man was found unconscious and hypothermic laying alongside the Pure Gas Road late Monday night.
