The run up to the Christmas Holiday Season has kicked into full gear now that Thanksgiving has passed on the calendar. Big events this week include the Central Wyoming College production of Hamlet, a clothing and food giveaway today at St. Stephens and many other events. Here's the list: *All this week* RIVERTON – Central Wyoming College production of Hamlet at the CWC Arts Center Theatre runs through Friday Dec. 4th with a 7:30 p.m. curtain; Saturday Dec. 5th 2:30 and 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 6th 7:30 p.m. *Tuesday, Dec. 1* ST. STEPHENS – A clothing and food giveaway will be held at Keel Gymnasium from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (33 St Stephens Road). Items are free to those in need. If interested, please plan to attend. We prefer not to place “holds” on items. First come first served. Limit of two items each unless multiple family members are present. Items available include winter coats, socks, boots, gloves, hats, scarves and limited pacakges of processed elk meat. LANDER - The Fremont County Parkinson's Support Group will be holding its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the Lander Senior Center at 2 p.m. Ronda Hatfield, Frontier Home Health, will talk with us about “Caring for Caregivers.” How can caregivers protect their own health and reduce stress, and what can Parkinson’s people do to help their caregivers? Parkinson's people are encouraged to bring family members and friends. RIVERTON - The Riverton Branch Library hosts Nashville producer and published author Gabriel Farago presenting a life-changing seminar based on his revealing book, Secrets to Success in Country Music. Created in response to the success of American Idol, The Voice and America’s Got Talent, Father Gabriel’s 35 years of ‘hands on’ experience offers an eye-opening “what it takes” to become a star! Bring the kids and have fun with Santa, games and hay rides. There will also be a collection of food for the community Christmas baskets. Bring a can of food and get one ticket for a chance to win a bike: 1 can = 1 ticket, 2 cans = 2 tickets, 3 cans = 3 tickets, etc. No limit. DUBOIS – 5:30 to 7 p.m. - Pearl Harbor Talk: Join us at the Dubois Branch Library as Harris Bonnell, local Pearl Harbor historian, shares his knowledge. Cookie walk, Candy booth, lots of craft items. Kolaches, rolls and coffee from 9:00 to 10:30. Luncheon at 11:00 until 1:00. RIVERTON – Christmas Craft Festival, St. Margaret’s Gym. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. RIVERTON - The Riverton Elks Lodge No. 1693 presents the 2015-2016 Hoop Shoot Contest will be held at the Riverton High School Gym starting at 10:00 am. Registration starts at 8 am and ends at 9:45 am. No one will be registered after 9:45 am. This is free to students from ages 8 to 13.
