Saturday Dec. 5 LANDER – Annual Christmas Craft Sale at Lander Senior Center, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. RIVERTON – The United Methodist Church Christmas Bazaar runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today 1116 West Park in Riverton. Cookie walk, Candy booth, lots of craft items. Kolaches, rolls and coffee from 9:00 to 10:30. Luncheon at 11:00 until 1:00. RIVERTON – Christmas Craft Festival, St. Margaret’s Gym. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. RIVERTON - The Riverton Elks Lodge No. 1693 presents the 2015-2016 Hoop Shoot Contest will be held at the Riverton High School Gym starting at 10:00 am. Registration starts at 8 am and ends at 9:45 am. No one will be registered after 9:45 am. This is free to students from ages 8 to 13. Winners will advance to the SouthWest Regional Hoop Shoot January 16, 2016 at Central Wyoming College. Questions? This is the third hunt in the Wyoming Best of the Best Circuit, which is the largest coyote hunting competition in the world. Hunt headquarters is the Main Manhattan Restaurant on West Main and Major Avenue. Last year more than $50,000 in winnings and raffle items were given away. Santa Claus will be there along with crafts for the kids, face painting and more. LANDER – Light Up Lander at Mr. D’s Food Center will be Saturday, December 5, 3-5 pm, on South 7th Street, between Mr. D’s and Wyoming Community Bank (between Main Street and Garfield Street). Bring the kids and have fun with Santa, games and hay rides. There will also be a collection of food for the Community Christmas baskets. Bring a can of food and get one ticket for a chance to win a bike: 1 can = 1 ticket, 2 cans = 2 tickets, 3 cans = 3 tickets, etc. No limit. SHOSHONI - Shoshoni Senior Center Christmas party. The only show of its kind, this show gives important visibility to Native American artists in Wyoming.
