Two County Residents sentenced in Federal Court Wednesday

Federal District Judge Scott W. Skavdahl on Wednesday sentenced two county residents to prison terms on their separate convictions of being a felon with a gun and distribution of methamphetamine. Starr Dana Miller, 22, of Arapahoe received 37 months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $300.00 fine and a $100.00 special assessment. Miller was convicted on a charge of felon in possession of a firearm. This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Stormie Forrester, 38, of Riverton received 147 days of imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release, including five months of home confinement, and was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment on a conviction of Distribution of Methamphetamine. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
