*Fremont County Sheriffs Department* *Arrests/Citations* *Andrea Antelope*, 29, of Arapahoe, Probation Revocation *Kassie Calvert*, 19, Lander, Failure to Appear *Preston Lock*, 39, Riverton, on two (2) Failure to Appear warrants *Calls:* *There were 138 calls for service over the weekend.* An injured deer was reported Friday in Lander near South 2nd and Cascade. A calling party said the deer was bloody and appeared weak. A bad check was reported turned in to the County Treasurer’s office. In a civil dispute in Jeffrey City, a private party blocked Jackpot Road. When contacted by a deputy, to obstruction was removed. A motorist struck a deer near milepost 69 near Dubois. A report of a vehicle crash on Riverview Road was turned over the Wind River Police Department for investigation. A report of a man being shot on Rail Lane near Lander was unfounded. Two shoplifters of a bottle of liquor from the Ramshorn Bar have been identified and a summons is pending. A tenant on Snowberry Lane reported being harassed by their landlord. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department was summoned to the 800 block of Clinchard Street in Lander where a sick deer had been attacked by another animal. A motorist reported striking a deer in the 3000 block of the Sinks Canyon Road. The accidental discharge of a rifle was reported at 5:25 p.m. on Saturday from the 1700 block of North 8th West in Riverton. The bullet went through the dining room window. There were no injuries. A burglary in the Lander area is under investigation. The report was redacted. A resident in the 300 block of Eight Mile Road reported receiving 21 calls from someone in Iran since Saturday. A deer that had apparently been struck and killed by a vehicle near Milepost 88 on Highway 789 was missing its head and antlers when discovered. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is investigating. An injured deer was reported alive after being struck by a vehicle on West Ramshorn Street in Dubois. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests/Citations* *A 33-year-old female *from Fort Washakie, *Sonya Allen*, was cited for Shoplifting $20 in alcohol from Mr. D’s. Allen was also issued a No Trespass order. *Aloysius Piper*, 48, Ethete, on two (2) Lander Municipal warrants. *A 16-year-old Lander male *was arrested at 4 p.m. on Sunday on three (3) outstanding Fremont County warrants. He was also cited for Minor In Possession of Alcohol. *Cordell Cloud*, 29, Ethete, was arrested Driving While Under the Influence and on a Fremont County warrant. Cloud was also cited for Interference for giving a false name, No Drivers License, Improper Turn, and Failing to Maintain Lane; *Marion Brown,* 37, Riverton, Arrested on a Lander Municipal warrant and cited for Interference. The two were stopped on a drunk driving complaint in the parking lot of the Lander Safeway Store at 10:56 p.m. Sunday *Calls:* *There were 41 calls for service over the weekend: * A resident on Garfield Street reported someone cut the locks off of a storage shed and stole a gas powered Stihl grass trimmer valued at $350. There are no suspects. A hit and run crash was reported on Friday in the 8200 block of Highway 789. Damage was under $1,000. The suspect vehicle left the scene. A motorist backing up struck a building on Lincoln Street, causing only minor damage. The incident was reported at 11:33 a.m. A two-vehicle crash was reported at 12:09 at Cliff and South 4th Streets. Damage was listed over $1,000. A pedestrian fell on south 7th Street and was taken to the hospital with a hip injury. Police assisted an ambulance crew on the call of someone possibly having a heart attack. A man who claimed he had been shot was intoxicated. He had not been shot. Police and Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the call on Rail Lane. He was in his own home and it’s not against the law to be drunk in your own home. Another hit and run was reported on Saturday of a vehicle at the Maverick Restaurant that was struck where it was parked overnight. Damage was under $1,000 A fraud asking a local resident to pay $1,500 in money owed the power company was reported at 12:58 p.m. on Saturday. The incident is under investigation. A person allegedly being harassed by another via text messages was given advice by an office. A caller reported the theft of their Social Security check. The subject was advised to contact the Social Security Administration to see if the check had been issued. A fuse box in a gray one-ton Dully GMC caught on fire, but was extinguished. A report was needed for insurance. The fire was reported at 11:43 a.m. on Sunday. Police were called to an address on Cliff Street at 6:40 p.m. Sunday for a reported fight between a wife and husband. It was a verbal confrontation only. *Riverton Police Department* *Arrests/Citations* *A 26-year-old male* from Ft. Washakie was cited for Driving While Under Suspension. *Steven Dickinson*, 47, Riverton, Driving While Under the Influence. *Maurice Duran*, 22, of Arapahoe, Public Intoxication *A 14-year-old female* was cited for Battery for biting her grandmother during an argument in the 1100 block of Mary Anne Drive at 5:14 p.m. Saturday *Two 18-year-old Riverton males *were cited for use of marijuana at Main and 1st streets at 11:16 p.m. on Saturday. *Calls:* *There were 34 calls for service on Friday* At 3:14 a.m. bronce 1998 Chevy S-10 pickup slid off the highway at milepost 128 on US 26. There were no injuries and damage was under $1,000. A large pothole resulted in over $1,000 to a 2012 Doge Ram which drove through the hole in the 700 block of West Main near North 8th West. At 12:40 p.m. police found an 18-year-old male who was intoxicated, which is a violation of the teen’s probation. His parole officer was notified. A crash at South Federal and East Adams at 12:56 p.m. on Friday resulted in $800 damage to a 1985 Cadillac and a 2002 Ford Escort A man who fell on the ice at a convenience store in the 200 block of North Federal was taken to the emergency room with a hip injured. A reported case of animal abuse is pending further investigation. The report came in from the 800 block of West Monroe. A report of a residential burglary in the 1000 block of Roosevelt Avenue is under investigation. An 80-year-old man was taken to the emergency room after he slipped on some ice at East Sunset and North Federal. A reported shoplifting is under investigation. Police are awaiting video from the business in the 2100 block of North Federal. At 9:33 p.m. a man in the 800 block of North Federal allegedly “mooned” a passerby. A woman reported that she saw her ex husband at the movie theatre and that she had a protection order against him. He left the theatre. There were no charges. Three males were taken to the Center of Hope throughout the day on Friday. *There were 20 calls for service on Saturday* An injury resulting from an aggravated assault is under investigation. The incident was reported in the 3000 block of College Hill Drive at 6:44 a.m. Saturday. No other details were released. Police assisted ambulance crews with calls involving a 62-year-old male who was unconscious, a 32-year-old man suffering chest pains and a 51-year-old male who was unconscious. One female and one male were transported to the Center of Hope during the day, one man who had been drinking was moved along and other was given a ride home. *Fremont County Emergency Medical Services* There were 45 calls for an ambulance over the weekend. *Fremont County Fire* There were two fire calls over the weekend in Riverton for a gas investigation at the Beaver Creek Housing Area and an outside fire on Maiden Road. *Fremont County Coroner* There were two coroner cases reported over the weekend. The death of a 60-year-old female from the Arapahoe area is a probable natural. The death of a 41-year-old Fort Washakie man, who died at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper is still under investigation. Fremont County Coroner Mark Stratmoen said an autopsy is planned for Tuesday to determine the manner and cause of death. #county10 #news
