*Wednesday, Dec. 9th* LANDER - Scott Goetz, the director of Fremont County Museums, will be the speaker at the December LEADER meeting, Wednesday morning, Dec. 9, 700am at the Oxbow. Scott has done a great job of calming the storms involving county museums and has an exciting plan for the future for the three museums in Fremont County and how they can affect economic development in Lander, Riverton and Dubois. Everyone is welcome to attend and bring a guest. *Friday, Dec. 11th* PAVILLION - The Wind River Student Council and Pro Start Classes are serving their annual Senior Citizen Banquet on Friday, Dec. 11th, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the student commons. Enjoy a complimentary brunch. The high school choir will entertain. *Saturday, Dec.12th* LANDER – Book sale at the Book Nook, corner of Couth 3rd and Main streets upstairs in the Bank of the West building and at the Carnegie Book Nook downstairs at the Lander Library. RIVERTON – Last Chance Craft Fair, 9 am – 3 pm, Fremont Center at the Fairgrounds. Free Admission. *Sunday, Dec. 13th* LANDER – The always popular Art in the Afternoon Holiday Art Fair, 10-4 pm at the Lander Community and Convention Center, 950 Buena Vista Drive. *Saturday, Dec. 19th* LANDER – Santa’s Workshop at Lander Children’s Museum. 10 am to 2 pm. Santa will visit, Children’s activities, hot chocolate and cookies will be served. DUBOIS – Western Chariot Horse Races, noon – 3 pm, Dubois Scenic Overlook Chariot Track on McKinley Drive. $4 admission. RIVERTON - Riverton's Open Mic Night at Mammoth Music. 10-minute slots are available to musicians, bands, and other stage performers for this family friendly evening. Live auction, photo booth, dancing, cash bar, DJ and a countdown to New Years. All proceeds go toward the project costs of building Fremont County’s first community splash pad in Riverton.
