Dubois has been filled with the Christmas spirit

Dubois was busy last weekend with holiday events. Dan Seelye and friends performed at the annual Spirit of Christmas concert at the Headwaters Center on Saturday evening, sponsored by the Dubois Library and Museum as well as the Friends of the Library. On Friday at the Headwaters, during the Christmas Extravaganza, vendors offered Christmas gift ideas and community groups provided decorated trees for sale. Also this season, Dubois residents have the opportunity to provide Christmas gifts to local children in the Christmoose project, which has posted "gift cards" on trees with anonymous requests. Gifts are taken to a central location and will be distributed to the lucky children. The gift cards disappeared rapidly from their location on small Christmas trees at the Perch and Kathy's Koffee. *h/t Lois Wingerson (text) and Karen McCullough (photos) / Pitchengine Communities* *[image: christmascupcakes.jpg]* *[image: christmoose1.jpg]* *[image: gingerbread1.jpg]* *[image: gingerbread2.jpg]* *[image: kiwanistree.jpg]* *[image: wreathsetc2015.jpg]* #county10 #news
