Dispatch: A man shot self in the hand; woman arrested for child endangerment

Here is Thursday's recap of law enforcement activity around the county. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Riverton Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* *Christopher Mowry*, 31, Riverton, Driving While Under the Influence *Ardie LongSoldier*, 45, Riverton, Public Intoxication *Randy Weber*, 25, Riverton, Failure to Appear *Eldon Antelope*, 50, Riverton, Public Intoxication *Calls:* There were 37 calls for service. A resident in the 1700 block of East Park reported someone had stolen a $1,000 money order from their home. There are no suspects. A man with a high blood alcohol level was transported to SageWest Hospital from the 900 block of East Pershing. At 3:30 p.m. a man in the 600 block of South Federal allegedly shot himself in the hand with his own handgun. He was transported to the hospital emergency room. A 2001 black Toyota Celica hit a deer in the 2100 block of North Federal. Damage was over $1,000. The crash was reported at 5:13 p.m. Just four minutes later, a 2015 Dodge Ram hit a deer at the intersection of Highway 789 and Honor Farm Road. Damage was over $1,000. *Fremont County Coroner* There were two coroner calls, both early today. Coroner Mark Stratmoen said the deaths included a 51-year-old man from Shoshoni at SageWest Riverton’s hospital and a 70-year-old man from Arapahoe at his home. He said both were presumed natural pending toxicology results. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests:* *A 42-year-old Ethete man* was cited for Speeding. His passenger, *a 32-year-old woman* from Ethete was cited for Possession of Marijuana. *Calls:* At 12:44 p.m., a caller on Dabich reported that a scammer called them claiming to be a granddaughter and needing help. The local did not fall for the scam. Police also assisted with a couple dog and medical calls. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* *Arrests:* *Andrea Addison*, 38, Bismark, N.D., Child Endangering. Addison was arrested after deputies were called to North Second Street outside of Lander for a disable vehicle. Addison was found in the passenger seat, "highly intoxicated" and holding a one-year-old, Undersheriff Ryan Lee said. She was arrested and the child was taken into protective custody. No one else was with the vehicle. *Justin King*, 27, Riverton, Court Ordered Arrest. Read more about this arrest here . *Calls:* A possible fraud or theft is under investigation. The caller claimed to have sent items to an auction and then was given a bad check as payment. Another caller reported she had a contractor remodel her bathroom, but found out he was lying about the hours that he worked. A local in the Buckhorn Flats area reported also receiving the recurring grandparent phone scam. At 8:05 p.m., a caller in Dubois reported that a former roommate stole some of the caller's items. A single vehicle crash was reported at 9:46 p.m. in the area of Major Ave. and Cooper. The female driver was transported to the emergency room with reportedly minor injuries. Additional information was not available. *Fremont County Ambulance* EMS crews responded to 24 calls for service countywide Thursday into Friday morning. *Fire Departments* Firefighters responded to four calls. #county10 #news
