Landerites helping with Capitol renovations in Cheyenne

A group of folks from Lander are down in Cheyenne handling a historic portion of the renovations that are on-going at Wyoming's Capitol building. Many of the state facilities have been the focus of construction efforts this year, and the Capitol itself closed the last weekend for its work to begin. Lander-based company Handle With Care is handling the packaging and moving all of the historic legislator composites. Spokeswoman for the Wyoming Capitol Square Project, Rachel Girt, says that the composites will be crated and stored until the Capitol reopens. The Legislative composites date back to territory days.
