Dispatch: Arrests; Fight sends two for treatment; Handgun stolen from unlocked truck; Two deaths reported Saturday

Here is Monday's recap of law enforcement activity over the weekend. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* *A 42-year-old Fort Washakie man* was cited for Peace Disturbance and Trespassing. The citations were issued on Friday afternoon after he allegedly was disorderly at a local business. *Devan Perez*, 24, Ethete, Driving Under the Influence, Failure to Report, No Insurance, Obstruction, and a Campbell County Warrant. Perez was arrested after he allegedly drove off of Fremont Way and fled the scene on Friday evening. *Ethan Colcovich*, 18, Lander, DUI, Possession of Marijuana, and Driving without Headlights. *Jesse Willow*, 38, Ethete, FCSO Warrant. *A male Lander juvenile *was cited for Failure to Yield following a wreck at South Fifth and Sweetwater Streets on Friday night. *A male Fort Washakie juvenile* was cited for Minor in Possession after a friend brought him to the hospital. *A 20-year-old Riverton man* was cited for Possession of Marijuana and Open Container. *Cathy Pebeahsy*, 43, Fort Washakie, two FCSO Warrants. *Verdale Duran*, 46, Arapahoe, DUI, LPD Warrant, Possession of Marijuana, Open Container, No Drivers License, and No Insurance. *Jennie Becent,* 46, Fort Washakie, FCSO Warrant. *Tishina Duran*, 24, Lander, LPD Warrant. *Mark Eisnnicher*, 33, DUI, Driving Under Suspension, Interference and Careless Driving. Eisnnicher was arrested after police were called to a home on Capitol Street at 2:53 a.m. on Sunday after the caller reported being attacked. When police arrived, one officer followed a fleeing vehicle, while another stayed at the home to investigate the alleged assault. According to police, information from the alleged victims was taken but that not everyone was immediately forthcoming with information. Allegedly, a woman came to the door of the home, and when the victim opened the door, other subjects ran in and assaulted a man. The family of the victims state that two people were beaten in the attack and that police did not interview everyone, including one of the victims. LPD states that the police reports have been forwarded to the Fremont County Attorney's Office for further review. EMS was called, and the victims received treatment. *Two juvenile Lander boys* were cited for Shoplifting at the Loaf N Jug on Sunday afternoon. *Darian Jenkins,* 18, Ethete, FCSO Warrant, Speeding, Possession of Marijuana, Minor in Possession and Open Container. His passenger, an *18-year-old Riverton man,* was also cited for Possession of Marijuana. *Calls:* Lander Police assisted the Department of Family Services with an on-going case on Friday morning. At 3:34 p.m., a caller on Popo Agie Street reported an intoxicated man walking around and talking to himself. Police were unable to locate the man. At 12:53 a.m. on Saturday, police were called to an apartment on Garfield for a report of a woman yelling and trying got kick a door in. It was determined that she had locked herself out of the apartment. At 5:15 p.m., a caller on South Ninth reported that someone might be in his son's trailer. The report was unfounded. On Sunday evening, police took a report of a dangerous dog on Cliff Street, however, the dog could not be found. At 10:05 p.m. on Sunday, police were called to Market Street for a potential burglary. It was determined to be unfounded. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* *Arrests:* *Tlana Jealous*, 24, Riverton, Probation Revocation and Laramie County Warrant. *Frantasia Maldonado*, 26, Riverton, Failure to Appear. *Tyler Ryan*, 25, Riverton, Failure to Appear and Criminal Trespass. *Jared Whitehead*, 42, Lander, Domestic Violence Battery. *Calls:* The Fremont County Treasurer reported multiple bad checks on Friday. At 12:03 p.m., a caller in Dubois reported seeing a dog attack a deer. A gate at a residence in Dubois was reportedly damaged by an unknown subject. A caller on Horse Creek Road in Dubois reported hearing a couple gunshots, but deputies were unable to find anything out of the ordinary. At 12:40 a.m. on Sunday, a caller reported a couple possibly missing people. They returned home without incident. A caller on Sunday morning reported seeing snowmobilers signaling SOS on Togwotee Pass. The situation was handled by Teton County, and additional information was not immediately available. At 5:43 p.m., a pedestrian was brushed by another vehicle at a gas station on Highway 789. A vehicle bumped the caller's leg while backing away from gas pump; it left and deputies could not locate it. The victim is OK. At 8:11 p.m., a caller on East Monroe reported that someone broke into his trailer and that there was blood. The home was found to be secure, and the blood was determined to be old brown paint. *Riverton Police Department* *Arrests/Citations* *Allen Whiteplume*, 30, Arapahoe, on a hold for the U.S. Marshals Office and U.S. Postal Inspectors. Whiteplume is alleged to have burglarized the Riverton Post Office. Read more here. *A 19-year-old male *from Arapahoe was issued a No Trespass order for the Central Wyoming College’s campus following a domestic call there last week. *Clowry Means*, 49, St. Stephens, Public Intoxication *Curt Elder*, 38, Riverton, Driving While Under the Influence. *Amber Washakie*, 23, Ethete, Domestic Assault, for fighting with the father of her children and administering bloody scratches all over him. *Daniel Oldman*, 31, Lander, Failure to Appear *Nicholas Hendryx,* 35, Riverton, Probation Revocation *A 43-year-old female* from Arapahoe was cited for Shoplifting a $3 bag of Ice from Smiths Food and Drug. The woman refused to leave the store and grabbed the bag of ice on her way out. *Calls:* *There were 40 calls on Friday* Two license plates were reportedly taken off of a 1994 Geo Prism. There are no suspects. The vehicle was parked on the 1000 block of Mary Anne Drive. An embezzlement at a local oilfield service company was reported. An employee allegedly used a company credit card without authorization. Detectives are investigating. A dog hit by a vehicle on South Federal was taken to a veterinarian for an exam, and then was released to the PAWS For Life shelter. A $75 laser light show was taken from a yard in the 400 block of Spruce Street. Police were called 1300 block of South Federal Boulevard for a 15-year-old boy ho had not been attending school. When contacted, the boy said he was going to live with his father in Casper. A report was received from the 300 block of South Broadway that someone had been sleeping on patio furniture in an enclosed front porch. A tribal ID card was found at the scene along with other personal property. The ID belonged to Arapahoe resident Allen Whiteplume, who had been arrested for breaking into the post office. He apparently had been sleeping there before the post office attempted burglary. A woman who pulled up to Taco Johns was surprised when a man she did not hopped into her passenger seat and said “Hi Sis, how are you?” The woman said she was upset and asked him to get out her car. He did. Police were unable to locate the man. *There were 30 calls for service on Saturday* Two guests at Roomers Motel on North Federal got into a fight at 2:21 a.m. and one of the men threw the other into the front glass door, breaking it. Damage was estimated at $1,000. The owner did not wish to press charges, but wanted restitution for the door. At 2:34 a.m. police were called to the Drive Through at Burger King where a carload of allegedly intoxicated customers was located. The car was driven by a designated driver. No action was taken. A resident in the 2300 block of Rose Lane reported someone had tried to kick in a garage door. Damage was listed at $500. Nothing appeared to be missing. A dumpster fire was extinguished by the fire department in the alley of the 100 block of South 11th East. *There were 29 calls for service on Sunday. * A caller reported a juvenile was taking items out of a Jeep parked in an alley in the 800 block of East Jackson. The Jeep was being restored by the youth. No action was taken. A license plate was reported taken off of a 2000 Ford Windstar. A man called police to report that his ex-wife was not allowing him visitations with his children as directed by a court. He wanted the incident documented. A man reported the theft of a Glock .45 caliber firearm taken from his unlocked 2004 Dodge Ram. The theft allegedly occurred Sunday afternoon in the 1000 block of Eastview. A two-vehicle crash at West Main in front of Central Wyoming College was reported at 4:41 p.m. The vehicles involved included a silver 1999 Chevrolet which struck a maroon 2014 Chevy. The road was blocked for a time. There were no injuries. *Fremont County Ambulance* EMS crews responded to 44 calls for service Friday though early Monday morning. countywide. *Fire Departments* Riverton Fire was the only department to receive call; they were called for a fire in an alley dumpster on the 100 block of South 11th East on Saturday. *Fremont County Coroner* There were two coroner calls on Saturday. Toxicology tests are pending on a 45-year-old Fort Washakie man who died at SageWest Health Care in Lander and on a 58-year-old female died at her home at Ethete. #county10 #news
