Dispatch: Check cashed illegally; Man injured falling on ice

Here is Tuesday's recap of law enforcement activity over the weekend. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* None. *Calls:* A group of police officers responded to an area on Washington Street on Monday morning after they received a call about people outside a residence with guns and trying to kill him. No one was found in the area. Three wrecks were reported around noon on Monday. A caller on Monday afternoon reported that someone stole his identity and got a ticket. Information was gathered and more work will be done with the Sheriff's Office. At 8 p.m., police were called about a man walking along East Main that appeared to be intoxicated. Police made contact with the man and told him to stay off the streets. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* *Arrests:* *Allen Gloy*, 45, Riverton, Contempt of Court. *Oa Misifoa*, 36, West Jordan, Utah, Sweetwater County Warrant. *Calls:* At 9:27 a.m., a caller in the Riverton area reported unauthorized use of a debit card. At 1:03 p.m., a caller on Oil springs Road reported finding a pipe that had possibly been stolen. The report is under investigation. *Riverton Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* *A 24-year-old female* from Fort Washakie was cited for Shoplifting $33 in food items from Walmart *Calls:* *There were 30 calls for service.* A male and a female were separated after allegedly having a verbal argument at 1:20 a.m. at the South Federal Maverik Country Store. Police were asked to attempt to locate a man who hasn't been seen since Friday. No other details were provided. A two-vehicle crash was reported at East Washington and South Broadway at 9:17 a.m. between a green 2012 Ford that struck a white 2008 GMC. Damage was over $1,000. Police assisted EMS crews who responded to the 800 block of East Main for a man who had fallen and struck his head. In an incident that occurred last week but was only reported Monday, a man said he was threatened by another man who had shown him a holstered firearm. The incident is under investigation. Detectives are awaiting video from a local bank after a check for $2,223 was cashed by an unauthorized person. At 2:43 p.m. a property damage three vehicle crash was reported in the 400 block of West Main Street between a silver 2001 Dodge which struck a gray 2013 Volkswagon which then struck a red 1995 Chevrolet. Damage was over $1,000. At 8:53 p.m. one man was taken to the emergency room for a high blood alcohol count over 0.40 percent. *Fremont County Coroner* There was one death reported in the county early this morning, that of an 85-year-old Lander woman. The death was ruled natural as she was under hospice care. *Fire Departments* Firefighters were called out three times on Monday. *Fremont County Ambulance* EMS crews responded to 21 calls for service on Monday. #county10 #news
