Travel Advisories mounting as snow falls

A number of travel advisories have been posted as the latest winter storm gains momentum across Wyoming • WYDOT is recommending no unnecessary travel along I-25 north or east of Casper and along most routes in and around Casper and Alcova to Muddy Gap. [image: Inline image 2] *Outer Drive at Casper* • No unnecessary travel between Thermopolis and the Washakie/Hot Springs County line on Wyo 789 due to reduced visibility, blowing and drifting Snow • The Chain Law, Level 2 is in effect over South Pass on Wyo 28 • Blowing and drifting snow is reported along US 287 in the Sweetwater Station area. • Strong winds and blowing snow is reported from Boysen Dam to Shoshoni, and from Shoshoni east to Waltman All other roads in the region are slick to slick in spots with snow.
