Dispatch: Thefts, bus fly-bys and more reported on Wednesday

Here is Wednesday's recap of law enforcement activity over the weekend. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* *Arrests:* *Tracy Miller*, 20, Dubois, Contempt of Court. *Tracy Spriggs*, 20, Dubois, Driving Under the Influence. *Calls:* A school bus fly-by on Highway 26 outside of Riverton at about 7:30 on Wednesday morning is under investigation. At 12:57 p.m., deputies took a report of medication possibly stolen from a residence on Mazet Road. The report is under investigation. A caller in the Riverton area reported receiving harassing text messages. A theft reported in Shoshoni is being handled by the Shoshoni Police Department. At 7:04 p.m., a woman on Highway 20 near Shoshoni reported that her boyfriend was trying to run her off the road. Deputies determined there was a misunderstanding, and the parties agreed to go separate ways. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* *Wade Wheeler*, 35, Lander, two LPD Warrants. *Calls:* At 7:31 a.m., a caller on Grand View reported that several vehicles had been vandalized. Police only found one vehicle with a missing hub cap. At 10:27 a.m., a caller on Cascade Street reported that someone had cut a lock off a shed. At 2:14 p.m., a caller at SageWest Lander reported that the suspects from a break-in earlier in the week were there. The incident was part of an on-going investigation. An infant got locked in a car on the south side of town on accident. Police assisted in getting the car unlocked. *Riverton Police Department* RPD's regular meeting was cancelled this morning due to other police commitments. Wednesday call details will be added as soon as they become available. *Fire Departments* Morton/Kinnear Firefighters were called to Gabes Road for a wreck. They were the only department to receive a call on Wednesday. *Fremont County Ambulance* EMS crews were called out 15 times on Wednesday into Thursday morning. #county10 #news
