Catholic College to open coffee spot

Wyoming Catholic College has confirmed that it will indeed be opening up a coffee shop in the space formerly occupied by Old Town Coffee. WCC Vice President of External Affairs Jonathan Tonkowich confirmed that the new coffee shop shop is slated to open in mid-January 2016, when students begin returning to town. The coffee spot will be open to the public, meaning it won't just be for the college. Tonkowich said the hope for the coffee shop is that it will be a place with a positive atmosphere where the college's students get to mix in a casual environment with locals. The name of the new coffee shop? WCC is holding on to that a little bit longer, Tonkowich said. "There are probably more surprises to come with it," he added. Prior to Old Town Coffee's closing, that space only the portion of the Baldwin Building that was not occupied by the college. #county10 #news
