*Riverton Police Department* *Arrests/Citations* *A 17-year-old female* from Kinnear was cited for Failure To Yield the Right of Way after her tan 2001 Ford turned right off of Fremont onto North Federal and struck a 2008 GMC Acadia driven by a 44-year-old Riverton woman. There were no injuries. *Calls* *There were 27 calls for service* Police assisted ambulance crews with an elderly man who fell in the 1500 block of Gannett Drive at 12:35 a.m. A landlord cleaning out an apartment in the 200 block of Bell found some blue crystals and called police. A test revealed nothing illegal. Throughout the day on Monday, two males and one female were transported to the Center of Hope for being intoxicated. Police and fire units scrambled to Riverton Regional Airport at 4:12 p.m. on the report of an incoming aircraft with a possible landing-gear problem. The plane landed without incident. Read that report here. Police responded to the 2300 block of Garnet Drive for a man who had passed away. Police gave a caller some advice on how to collect a debt. It was a civil issue. A caller reported being harassed via Facebook. A man who failed to show up at work resulted in a welfare check by police at 4:20 p.m. in the 2200 block of Rose Lane. After not hearing any response to their knocking, police summoned the apartment manager to open the door. When the door was opened, the man inside indicated he did not want to see anyone today. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests/Citations* *Robert Herbst*, 30, Lander, Probation Violation *Mary Driver*, 44, Lander, on a Fremont County warrant. She was also cited for Trespassing. *Tajia Cleveland*, 25, Lander, on a Fremont County warrant. She was also cited for No Drivers License. *Calls* *There were 12 calls for service* Lander Police are investigating the circumstances of a trashed house and an elderly woman inside who was hiding under her bed. A person checking on the woman found the door to the home unlocked and the home “trashed.” Three dogs that were running around a residence in the 1000 block of Cliff Street were ushered back into their yard and an officer secured the fence to keep the dogs on their own property. A black and white collie mix dog with a blue collar was impounded by police after it was found running at large near South 2nd Street and Cascade. *Fremont County Sheriff’s Office* *Arrests/Citations* There were no arrests *Calls:* *There were 34 calls for service on Monday* A caller reported that someone had stolen a bumper off of a truck in the 200 block of Ramshorn Street in Dubois. A chainsaw was reported stolen from a logging truck on the East Ford Road outside of Dubois. An assault that was reported on the Gas Hills Road outside of Riverton was turned over to the BIA Wind River Police Department. A woman was taken to SageWest Lander Hospital after hitting a bump and driving her vehicle off of Highway 789. She struck a culvert at highway speed and ended up in a field. The wreck was near the highway’s intersection with the Lyons Valley Road south of Lander. Deputies responded along with Riverton Police and Fire to the report of an incoming aircraft with possible landing gear problems at Riverton Regional Airport. The aircraft landed without incident. Deputies found a vehicle that left the road and went into a ditch at North 8th West and Country Acres Road. The vehicle was unoccupied. *Fremont County Emergency Medical Services* There were 16 calls for a county ambulance on Monday *Fremont County Fire Departments* There were four fire calls on Monday, one for a single vehicle crash south of Lander, one for a vehicle fire on Burma Road north of Riverton, one for a single vehicle crash on North 8th West north of Riverton and a response to the reported aircraft emergency at the Riverton Airport. *Fremont County Coroner* Chief Deputy Coroner Erin Ivie reported one death on Monday, that of a 73-year-old Riverton man.
