Lander Hunting ordinance up for first reading tonight; City's annual Audit Report to be released

The Lander City Council tonight will continue work on the "hunting" ordinance that will prohibit firearms and Broadhead tipped arrows within the city limits. The ordinance will have its first reading. On second reading is an ordinance amending the city's alcohol regulations to update language and to include new language pertaining to the public spaces where alcohol is dispensed at the Lander Community and Convention Center. The major item on tonight's agenda is a presentation on the annual audit of the city by Tim Fixter of McKee Marburger and Fagnant, CPAs. In other business, the council will be asked to approve a policy on procurements and appoint a voting delegate to the Wyoming Association of Municipalities winter workshop. Tonight's meeting starts at 7 p.m. at Lander City Hall, North 2nd at Lincoln Streets. #county10 #news
