Bitterly Cold Temperatures and fog for the Wind River Basin this morning; Avoid Frostbite

A special weather statement was issued early this morning for the Wind River Basin and Jeffrey City to expect bitterly cold temperatures this morning. The National Weather Service Forecast Office at Riverton Regional Airport also issued a caution to avoid frostbite when the weather turns this cold. The Wind River Basin forecast: Today: Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 16. Wind chill values as low as -25. Light and variable wind. Tonight: Areas of fog after 11pm. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around -8. Light and variable wind. Monday: Areas of fog before 11am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 18. Wind chill values as low as -15. Light and variable wind.
