Here is Wednesday's recap of law enforcement activity around the county. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law: *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* *Arrests:* *Donovan Littleshield*, 23, Riverton, Fremont County Warrant. *Danny Ortiz*, 36, Riverton, Probation Revocation. *Calls:* Illegal dumping was reported at 1:21 p.m. off Highway 26 near Kinnear. The Department of Family Services reported to deputies on Tuesday afternoon that a woman was giving older individuals pills that aren't prescribed for them. The report is under investigation. A heater was reported stolen from a work site off Gas Hills Road. A runaway juvenile female was located after 1 a.m. on Wednesday morning in the Riverton area. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* None. *Calls:* A juvenile male was found wandering a neighborhood on Tuesday morning without a coat. The child's grandparent and Department of Family Services was contacted. A report of animal abuse in the area of South Fourth and Garfield yesterday afternoon is under investigation by the Animal Control Officer. *Riverton Police Department * *Arrests/Citations* There were no arrests *Calls* *There were 28 calls for service* A contractor cleaning out a rental unit in the 500 block of East Park found what was described as a “water bong” inside. The bong was turned over to the RPD. Under investigation is the reported theft of packages from residences on Homestead Avenue. A fire call in the 100 block of North 5th East was a false alarm. A contractor apparently dropped a piece of wood setting off the alarm. The theft of some copper is under investigation. The theft was reported on Hewitt Avenue. A call about a person refusing to leave a motel room in the 400 block of North Federal was resolved before police arrived. A shoplifting incident at Walmart is pending. No information was available. A simple assault reported in the 900 block of South Federal is under investigation and a report is pending. *Fremont County Corone*r There were two deaths reported, one on Tuesday and one very early this morning. Both deaths are under investigation. Coroner Mark Stratmoen said a female died at Ethete and a man died in Riverton, but he did not release the ages of the deceased or any other information. *Fremont County Ambulance* EMS crews responded to seven calls for service on Tuesday into Wednesday morning. *Fire Departments* Firefighters responded to three calls for service on Tuesday, two were alarms and one was a smoke investigation. #county10 #news
