Dispatch: filthy living conditions unfounded; intoxicated drivers reported

Here is Thursday's recap of law enforcement activity around the county. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law: *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* *Arrests:* None. The Fremont County Detention Center is responsible for 167 inmates. Of these, 142 are being held in the detention center, 14 are in substance abuse treatment programs, two are on home detention and nine are being housed out of the facility. *Calls:* At 11:06 a.m., deputies took a report of a hit and run on Buckhorn Flats Road. Damage was discovered to a fence. At 1:43 p.m., a caller on Appaloosa Drive reported that a neighbor shot a dog in an unsafe manner. A drunken driver reported at about 3 p.m. on Highway 789 was determined to not be intoxicated. Another possible intoxicated driver reported on Highway 789 near Hudson at 5:30 p.m. was unable to be located. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* *Rodeen Ingawanup*, 48, Fort Washakie, Shoplifting and Interference. She was arrested for allegedly trying to steal alcohol and meat from Safeway early Wednesday afternoon. *Janice Charley*, 46, Ethete, FCSO Warrant. *Calls:* At 10:45 a.m., police were told that a 93-year-old woman was living in a home covered in vomit and feces. Police responded and determined the report to be unfounded. The woman was clean, mobile and alert, and the house was described by officers as "very clean." An alleged theft of medication from a home is under investigation. At 5:38 p.m., a caller on Four Seasons Drive reported that a dog bit her on the ankle. The bite did not break the skin, and the dog and its owner were unknown. At 6:18 p.m., police were called to Safeway for a report of a female customer who shoved soda into a staff member's chest. The woman had left the store. Police took a report. *Fremont County Ambulance* EMS crews responded to 12 calls for service on Wednesday into Thursday morning. *Fire Departments* County firefighters handled a single stand-by call off Blue Sky Highway last night. #county10 #news
