Dispatch: Underage drinkers caught after fire call; suspicious death under investigation

Here is the Wednesday recap of law enforcement activity around the county. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law: *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* *Arrests:* *Isaiah Apodaca*, 31, Riverton, Use of Controlled Substance and Giving False Information. *Calls:* A theft of money reported on Tuesday morning is under investigation. Additional information was not released. The Wyoming Livestock Board was called on Tuesday afternoon to investigate a situation involving a horse at the Riverton Livestock Auction. Deputies and Wyoming Highway Patrol were called late Tuesday by Lincoln County law enforcement about a assault suspect who might be on the run. The subject was ultimately located in Lincoln County. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* *A 32-year-old Riverton woman* cited for Shoplifting and Open Container. *A 41-year-old woman from Arapahoe* cited for Shoplifting. The pair were cited after police were called on Tuesday morning to a store on Grand View Drive for a report intoxicated people shoplifting. *A 29-year-old Lander man* and a *23-year-old Lander woman* were both cited for Peace Disturbance following a 6:51 p.m. call on North Sixth of a domestic dispute happening outside. *A 21-year-old Lander man* was cited for Providing Liquor to Minors. A *20-year-old Lander man*, *19-year-old Fort Washakie man* and *19-year-old Douglas man* were all cited for Minor in Possession. The quartet was contacted at about 11:24 p.m. after firefighters were called there for a fire alarm. Lander Fire Administrator Nick Hudson said the home alarm system was set off by smoking popcorn. *Calls:* Lander Police and the Fremont County Coroner are jointing investigating the death of an adult male who was found at an apartment on the 100 block of Custer Street at 4:49 p.m. Additional information has not been released. An alleged burglary of a storage unit is under investigation. A stop sign at North First and Market was found run over around 7:45 p.m. *Riverton Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* *Marshall Friday*, 42, Casper, Contempt of Court *Mary Addison*, 52, of Arapahoe, Shoplifting $39 clothing at Walmart. Addison also had two outstanding Failure to Appear warrants and one Contempt of Court warrant. Her blood alcohol level was measured at 0.18 percent. *Victor Addison*, 25, of Arapahoe, Shoplifting $21 in liquor and one count of Criminal Entry. After grabbing the liquor and fleeing from Woodward’s Liquor, Addison is alleged to have ran in front of a white minivan driving through the parking lot. He slipped and fell in front of the vehicle, which stopped. He then is alleged to have gotten up and jumped into the back seat of the vehicle. The driver did not know who he was and didn’t move until police arrived and took Addison into custody. *Two men from the Arapahoe area* were cited for Crossing a Street Not Using A Crosswalk after running into traffic and nearly being struck in the 700 block of North Federal. The two males were aged 45 and 62. *Ian Pine*, 32, Riverton, Failure to Appear *Shawn Limpy*, 27, Riverton, Public Intoxication (0.25% BAC) *Calls:* There were 31 calls for service. A reported assault at the Wind River Job Corps Center reportedly sent one person to the hospital. A Riverton Police report on the incident is pending receipt of medical records. A landlord called the police to advise that a tenant had violated their lease by smoking in the rental. The landlord was advised that was a civil and not a criminal matter. Pending more information is an assault of a woman at the Wind River Estates. The victim told police she went outside at night to smoke and was jumped by two people unknown to her. The next day she had two black eyes and went to the emergency room. The Department of Family Services and the Riverton Police Department are investigating a case in which three children were taken under protective custody by the RPD and delivered to the DFS. No further information was released. A gray Yukon reportedly backed into a cement pillar at Jiffy Rentals on West Main Street. A report had not yet been completed. A female who had fallen in the 500 block of East Pershing was determined to be highly intoxicated and was transported to the emergency room. Police were notified of a missing 2002 white Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the Riverton area. They were unable to locate the vehicle. A second missing vehicle was also reported, this time from Spire Drive where a gold 2003 Cadillac DeVille had gone missing. Police did not locate a vehicle of that description. A caller at 10:45 p.m. reported a man was beating on a truck with a hammer in the 1200 block of South 8th East. Police contacted the man who said it was his truck and he was trying to close the door. No action was taken. *Fremont County Ambulance* EMS crews responded to 17 calls for service on Tuesday into Wednesday morning. *Fire Departments* Lander Volunteer firefighters were called for a late night alarm.
