Two arrests made in South Federal grab and run Robbery

Riverton Police Chief Mike Broadhead said two of the alleged robbers of the South Federal Maverik Country Store on Monday night have been taken into custody. Two 18-year-old males were arrested by the BIA Wind River Police Department on outstanding warrants on Wednesday. Two 17-year-old suspects are still at large. A video released by the RPD generated tips from the public that assisted in the identification of the four suspects. The police also consulted with the BIA's School Resource Officer who was also able to identify several of the suspects. Charges against all four in connection with the robbery are pending. The four males entered the store late on Monday and took several bottles of alcohol and one of the robbers hurled a soft drink at the clerk as they ran out of the store. The act of aggression resulted in the robbery charge. The two adult's identities were not released. *Feature Photo: An image taken by surveillance video at the time of the robbery showed the suspects entering the store.
