Dispatch: Arrests; Lander home burglarized; Couple arrested for child endangering; Fraud reported;

Here is Wednesday’s law enforcement recap from around the county. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests/Citations* *A 29-year-old Riverton male *of was served with eight (8) LPD warrants while at the Fremont County Detention Center. *A 16-year-old Ethete male *was cited for No Drivers License and No Insurance. The vehicle was towed. *Calls:* A two-vehicle crash was reported at 8:09 a.m. at North 5th and Lincoln streets. No injuries were reported and no citations issued. Damage was over $1,000. A 14-year-old Lander female was taken into custody during an investigation of child abuse or neglect. The girl was taken to the Fremont County Group Home. The Fremont County and Prosecuting Attorney’s Office was involved in the decision. A tobacco problem was reported at Lander Valley High School Tuesday morning at 9:02 a.m. The problem is under investigation and involves the Department of Family Services. A burglary was reported in the 800 block of North 3rd Street at 6:46 p.m. According to a police report, a couple was moving into the residence and when they came to the house the back door had been kicked in and the house had been ransacked. The burglary remains under investigation. A resident on Market Street reported finding an intoxicated man sleeping in their home. Police are investigating. *Fremont County Sheriff’s Office* *Arrests/Citations:* *A 17-year-old Riverton male*, on a Fremont County Bond Revocation *Marlene Gould*, 55, Casper, on two warrants, Failure to Appear and Contempt of Court. *Lyle Haukaas,* 37, Hudson, Interference with Police, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and on two (2) Probation Revocation warrants. Haukaas was identified in a Lander business and he tried to flee officers on foot. He was also found with methamphetamine on his person. *Calls* *There were 37 calls for service* A suspicious vehicle with out-of-county license plates was seen driving past a No Trespassing sign and looking around property on Field Station Road south of Lander. A domestic abuse reported in Riverton is under investigation A caller near Riverton reported the theft of jumper cables. A caller complained that a Wind River Transportation Authority bus had crossed the center line on Highway 26 just west of Riverton five times, forced one vehicle on the shoulder of the highway and drifted over the fog line twice. Deputies will follow up with the WRTA. A verbal altercation was reported at a residence on North Second Street in Lander. *Riverton Police Department* *Arrests/Citations* *Peter Blackburn,* 29, Child Endangerment and Resisting; *Tiana Armour*, 25, Riverton, Child Endangerment and Probation Revocation. A Riverton police report indicated officers responded to an address on Blackfoot Avenue with sheriff’s deputies and found the two adults intoxicated and three toddlers under the age of 5 in the home. The report indicated one of the children was naked and was crawling on what was described as a “filthy” floor, two others were found on a mattress in the middle of the room and that the floor was littered with dirty diapers and half-full bottles of alcohol. The report indicated Armour was found in the kitchen, cross-legged and incoherent. Northern Arapaho DFS was contacted which came and collected the children and the adults were arrested. *Bill Gould,* 43, of Arapahoe, Driving While Under the Influence *Joseph Medicinetop*, 49, Billings, on a Failure to Appear warrant *Calls* *There were 22 calls for service* A man reported a hit and run crash in the Walmart Parking Lot. The investigating officer determined a scratch on the man’s vehicle was from a shopping cart and not from another vehicle. Specialty Marine on South Federal reported being the victim of a fraud. The business had sent a fuel rail for repair and $500 to a business in Key Largo, Florida, identified as Pelican Services. Specialty later learned the business no longer exists, but the part and cash was not returned. The RPD connected the sheriff’s office in Key Largo and the incident is being investigated. An eight-year-old boy was briefly reported as missing when he failed to get on a transfer bus after school. The boy was quickly located and was fine. *Fremont County Emergency Medical Services* There were 14 calls for a county ambulance on Tuesday. *Fremont County Fire Departments* There were no fire calls on Tuesday *Fremont County Coroner* There was one coroner call that is under investigation, however no information is being released at this time, according to Chief Deputy Coroner Erin Ivie.
