Riverton man gets federal indictment in large marijuana grow

Luke Jackson Tilghman, 33, officially faces a federal criminal charge for a large marijuana grow operation that was discovered in the Riverton area in mid-December. A grand jury indicted Tilghman on a single charge of the Possession of more than 100 marijuana plants with the Intent to Distribute. The crime, should he be convicted, is punishable by 5-40 years in prison and a fine of up to $5 million. Tilghman's operation, see photo, was discovered during a Division of Criminal Investigation search and seizure operation in Casper where 54 plants and 375 grams of bulk marijuana were found. Neil Arcuri, 35, was arrested there for a couple felonies. Information at that scene led investigators to the area of 7340 Riverview Rd and 518 N Broadway Ave. in Riverton the following day, Dec. 17. It was there that investigators reportedly found 640 high grade marijuana plants, bulk marijuana and cash.
