Dispatch: Arrests; Trash violation reported; Firearms missing from home; Harassment reported in Riverton

Here is Friday's recap of law enforcement activity across the county. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* *A 59-year-old Lander man* was cited for Peace Disturbance after arguing with staff at the Lander Library. *April Garcia,* 33, Lander, three Lincoln County Warrants. Garcia was located after police were asked by a subject Lincoln County to perform a welfare check at the Washakie Street home for a different subject. The person being sought wasn't there, but Garcia was found. *Seth Lebeau*, 32, Lander, FCSO Warrant. *Calls:* At 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, police were called to the 800 block of North Sixth Street for a report of a large trash pile. The property owner was given a notification. At 1:15 p.m., police were called to storage units on East Main Street for a report of attempted break-ins. Entry was not gained. A hit and run on Bonnie Brae discovered at about 9 p.m. resulted in more than $1,000 in damage to the victim vehicle. Suspects are unknown at this time. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* *Arrests:* *Chase Owens*, 33, Lander, Bond Revocation. *Calls:* At 11:59 a.m., deputies were called to the Pavillion area by a woman who said a man followed her home but then left when he discovered that she wasn't who he thought she was. A tub of ashes on fire was found on the side of Highway 789 near Hudson. *Riverton Police Department* *Arrests/Citations* *Louis Oldman,* 27, Riverton, Driving While Under the Influence, Driving While Under Suspension, Carrying a Concealed Weapon (brass knuckles) *A 47-year-old man* from Arapahoe was cited for No Insurance and Expired Registration. *Kristen Williams*, 19, of Arapahoe, Failure to Appear A citation is pending for a *31-year-old female *from Arapahoe for assault after tackling her stepmother to the floor, pulling her hair and punching her. The suspect went to visit and was confronted that each time she had visited in the past, something from the house went missing. *Calls* *There were 24 calls for service* A 43-year-old man found laying on a sidewalk and coughing up blood in the 300 block of South Federal at 4:28 a.m. was taken to the emergency room. A man called police asking for assistance in locating a person that he had loaned a 12 gauge shotgun. He has been unable to contact the man, who is also from Riverton. A lawn ornament consisting of a planter with a straw bird in it was tipped over in the 300 block of North Broadway. It was not damaged. A man called police because his bank told him to call, but he didn't want a criminal investigation into the fraudulent use of his bank card. A report was taken. A mother reported that her 16-year-old daughter didn't come home overnight, but that she didn't want her reported as a runaway. A man called from the 1200 block of West Main to report missing items from his home including firearms. Detectives are working the case. Police were called to the 200 block of Major Avenue on the report of a stab/gunshot incident. No further information was released. The incident is under investigation. A woman who contracted with a company to redo her floors said the original contractor failed to show up for over a week so she hired another company to do the work. When the orginal contractor learned they lost the business, a caller from that firm allegedly became irate with the woman. She called police to report a harassment. *Fire Departments* Firefighters responded to two calls for service on Thursday. *Fremont County Ambulance* EMS crews responded to 11 calls for service on Thursday into Friday morning. *Fremont County Coroner* There was one coroner call on Thursday, for a 58-year-old Riverton female who died at home.
