The 49th Annual Wyoming State Winter Fair is coming soon!

It’s time to get ready for the 49th Annual Wyoming State Winter Fair and the Fair Board and volunteers would again, this year, like to invite you to come and participate and enjoy the many activities that are planned for 2016. The Wyoming State Winter Fair, Inc. was established in 1968 and continues to help promote business communities, goods and services of the State of Wyoming. The Winter Fair gives Fremont County and the State of Wyoming residents a much needed break from the winter boredom and cabin fever effects that we often experience during the cold, long winter months. In the spirit of that first Wyoming State winter Fair, the Winter Fair Trade Show will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, *March 3rd, 4th and 5th* and will feature a wide range of quality music, dance and other talent from the local community and region. The “set up” by Trade Show vendors will begin at 8:00 am on Thursday, March 3rd and vendors are requested to have their booths completed by 4:00 pm on that date. [image: wwinter fair.JPG] There will be be a diverse range of quality vendors, concessionaires and community organizations. There will be many new items to look at that will be for sale this year. There will also be many service organizations in our community who will have booths to provide information on the services that may benefit you or your family. Please come and support the vendors who come to the Winter Fair Trade Show to provide you with access to a wide variety of goods and services at one convenient location. Come and enjoy the performances and bring the entire family. We are happy to announce that the Winter Fair will again this year have a “sound system” that will be provided by Robert Hussa of RiverSound which is located in Riverton. The Winter Fair Committee continues its search for great entertainment to share at the Winter Fair and if you are interested in providing instrumentals, vocals, dance or other entertainment, please contact Patti Hessling at (307) 349-7032, Erica Flom at (307) 349-8923, Theresa Harmati at (307) 349-7768 or Marlene Young at (307) 332-4011. This year the Miniature Bull Riding event by HOWL Rodeo Bulls will be held on Saturday, February 27th and the always very popular Horse Show will be held on Sunday, February 28th. As in past years, it looks to be a great equestrian event. There will be events for the novice horseman through the experienced rider which includes halter, performance and showmanship classes. There will also be poles and barrels in the afternoon of the Horse Show. Please be sure to review the updated “Classes and Rules” that will be available in this year's 49th Annual Wyoming State Winter Fair Brochure. If you would like more information regarding Mini Bull Riding or the Horse Show events, please contact Tara Peter at (307) 349-5844 or Ted Seely at (307) 349-9948. The Open Craft Show, which is free of charge to local crafters, will be held on Friday, March 4th from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm (The Open Craft Show will not be available on Saturday) [image: lkj.JPG] If you would like to volunteer to help with the Winter Fair or if you have any questions regarding this year's Winter Fair, please contact Theresa Harmati at (307) 349-7768 or Marlene Young at (307) 332-4011.
