Here's is Wednesday's report of law enforcement activity around the county. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Lander Police Department * *Arrests/Citations:* *Anthony Long*, 20, Lander, Shoplifting a $5 item from the Family Dollar store. He was also trespassed from the store. *A female juvenile* was cited for Simple Assault for an incident at Lander Valley High School. *Calls:* An unknown female fled the Safeway Store with two bottles of alcohol valued at $70. Police were unable to locate the suspect. Police gave advice on a child custody issued and suggested the party contact an attorney. A prescription drug left overnight in a parked car on North 5th Street was reported stolen sometime over the night. A subject called police to report an assault that occurred in Fort Washakie and was worried that someone might try to vandalize their home in Lander. A woman removed 20 green-colored totes from the Loaf ‘N Jug store on Man Street. The bags were valued at $200. *Fremont County Sheriff’s Office* *Arrests/Citations* *Stephanie Behan*, 31, Riverton, Probation Revocation *Calls* *There were 42 calls for service* A horse was reported to be stuck in a fence along the Squaw Creek Road. The horse was okay. A theft reported overnight is under investigation. All relevant information was redacted from the Deputy’s report. A sex offense was reported on Tuesday, it is under investigation. A resident in the 1700 block of East Park reported a break-in with several items stolen. A simple assault was reported just after 7 p.m. Tuesday night. No other information was available. *Riverton Police Department* *Arrests/Citations* *Joseph Alberts*, 42, Riverton, Contempt of Court *Clement Eagle*, 43, of Arapahoe, Public Intoxication *Calls: * *There were 28 calls for service* The owner of a blue 2011 Ford F-150 reported a light bar was stolen from his truck’s front bumper. Value was $150. A woman darted into the Good Samaritan Shelter, grabbed a paint of pants, and fled. There was a two-vehicle crash in the 100 block of North Broadway between a purple 1994 Ford Ranger and a Red 2000 Volkswagon Beetle. Damage was over $1,000. A caller reported that some had written the word “perv” on their vehicle. A vehicle theft was reported on Tuesday. A 1992 Hyundai Accent was stolen from a parking lot. The vehicle was later found and returned to the owner. There was no damage. A landlord complained to police that evicted tenants returned and grabbed personal items without his permission. A report was taken. A purse was reported stolen from a front yard in the 100 block of East Lincoln. A woman complained that a neighbor’s dog in the 900 block of Forest Drive had been “pooping” in her yard. The neighbor was contacted by police.
