Dispatch: Arrests; Fishing gear theft stopped; Debit card frauds reported

Here is Thursday's recap of law enforcement activity around the county. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Riverton Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* *Aloysius C’Hair*, 45, of Arapahoe, on a Contempt of Court warrant *Thomas Brown*, 44, Ethete, Public Intoxication *David Dewey*, 46, Riverton, on a Contempt of Court warrant *A 41-year-old male* resident of the Arapahoe area was cited, for the fourth time, for Driving While Under Suspension and No Insurance. A responsible driver took him home. *A 21-year-old Riverton male* tried to steal $105 worth of fishing gear from Walmart but was caught and cited for Shoplifting. *Nevada Whiting-Piapot*, 26, Casper, on a Bond Revocation *A 20-year-old male from Riverton* was cited for Possession of Marijuana, personal use size, during a traffic stop *Calls:* There were 33 calls for service. A resident turned in a .40 caliber magazine to the RPD. The magazine was filled with eight bullets. A two vehicle crash was reported at North Federal and Pershing between a gray 2013 Toyota Avalon and a blue 2006 Pontiac. Damage was over $1,000. A man who vacationed in Jamaica several months ago discovered two additional charges on his debit card totaling $1,785.56 that he did not make. He notified his bank who asked him to file a police report. A two vehicle crash was reported in the 500 block of East Pershing between a red 1998 GMC and a 2005 Maroon Nissan. Damage was over $1,000. A mother called to report that her daughter had taken her cell phone and would not give it back. Police counseled the daughter to mom could make calls once again. From Sunday: A resident in the 300 block of Kinnikinnick Drive reported someone had shot out a bedroom window with a pellet gun. A sex offense that allegedly occurred eight years ago was reported this weekend through a call from the Casper Police Department. The CPD received the information third-hand and passed it along. The alleged incident is under investigation. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* *Timothy Bennett*, 36, Lander, FCSO Warrant. *Ryan Bishop*, 33, Lander, Domestic Violence. He was arrested after an 11:13 p.m. call to a local motel. *Calls:* A couple minor crashes were reported on Wednesday afternoon. Vehicles in one wreck both left before police arrived. A small baggie of drugs was discovered late Wednesday evening the men's bathroom of a Main Street business. At 6:01 a.m. on Thursday, a caller on Sweetwater Street reported seeing a subject on a bike stop and open a truck door. Police were unable to find the subject. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* *Arrests:* *Raylinda Brown*, 24, Salt Lake City, Utah, Contempt of Court Warrant. *Daniel Bryant*, 31, Lander, Failure to Appear. *Shawn Pendleton*, 21, Riverton, two counts of Aggravated Homicide by Vehicle. Read more about this arrest here . *Matthew Smith*, 24, Kinnear, four Probation Revocation Warrants and one Probation Violation. *Calls:* At 7:42 a.m., a caller in the Riverton area reported finding a dog that was shot but not dead. Deputies were unable to locate the dog. Throughout the morning, deputies handled a couple minor wrecks. At 6:51 p.m., deputies were called by a Riverton area woman whose banking card and Social Security Number were stolen. Someone used her card for about $400 in merchandise. At 10:40 p.m., a caller on Cherry Street report that a woman was libeling him on Facebook, saying that he was a molester. A report was taken. *Fire Departments* Riverton Fire handled a single smoke investigation. *Fremont County Ambulance* EMS crews responded to seven calls for service Wednesday into Thursday morning. *Fremont County Coroner* There were no coroner calls on Wednesday.
