Wind corridor to be active today; Patchy fog this morning and tonight

(Riverton, Wyo.) - Southwest winds of 25 to 35 mph are predicted today in the wind corridor from the Red Desert to Casper with gusts to 45 mph. Patchy fog is possible in the central valleys and basins early today and late tonight. The National Weather Service Forecast Office at Riverton Regional Airport said patchy fog is expected to continue through Thursday morning and again Thursday night and Friday morning. Daytime temperatures will be in the mid-40s the rest of the week with overnight lows in the single digits. Strong winds are also possible in the lee of the mountains of Central Wyoming and the wind corridor from Jeffrey City to Casper, according to the NWS.
