All five Lander home invasion suspects enter pleas

The quintet of local individuals who have been charged in the December 2015 home invasion and beating of a local couple all entered pleas this afternoon: not guilty. Mark Eisnnicher, 33, Daquen Eisnnicher, 20, Brittany Church, 23, and a 17-year-old boy, all of Lander, pleaded not guilty to the following charges: two counts of Aiding and Abetting Aggravated Battery, Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Battery and Unlawful Entry Into an Occupied Structure. The 17-year-old's fifth charge of unlawful entry had not been formally sent to district court for arraignment, so he only entered pleas to the first four charges. A fifth subject, Wade Wheeler, who was allegedly the instigator of the attacks, pleaded not guilty to Conspiracy to Commit Unlawful Entry and two counts of Aiding and Abetting Aggravated Battery. All five had their trials tentatively scheduled to begin on May 9. Fremont County Attorney Pat Lebrun did indicate a desire to combine the defendants for trial preferences. The only bond modifications granted were to Mark Eisnnicher and Brittany Church's conditions, which allows the two to communicate in writing under review by jail staff because they have a child together.
