Having Football withdrawals? Wyoming's 2016 Fall Opponents Announced

(Laramie, Wyo.) - Suffering football withdrawals now that the Super Bowl is over? Hang in there, the Wyoming Cowboys 2016 season starts in only 202 days. That's only 17 weeks. The Mountain West Conference has released a listing of all 2016 football opponents for the 12 conference schools. As has been the case since the Mountain West went to a divisional format for football in 2013, each team will play all five opponents its own MW division and will play three conference opponents from the league’s other division. The Cowboys will also host West Division foe San Diego State. Wyoming will travel to Mountain Division members Colorado State and New Mexico, and will face West Division members Nevada and UNLV on the road. The 2016 season will kick off for the Wyoming Cowboys on Saturday, Sept. 3 when UW hosts Northern Illinois in War Memorial Stadium. The Cowboys will travel to Lincoln, Neb., to face the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday, Sept. 10.
