Near Blizzard conditions reported at Dubois; Rain in Lander/Riverton

Snow is currently falling and with high winds in the Upper Country, a Fremont County Sheriff's Deputy reported a "near blizzard" underway at Dubois. In the valley, Rain is falling at the lower elevations in Lander, Riverton and along Burma Road, according to a reader there. The National Weather Service forecast for the Wind River Basin: [image: Inline image 1] For this afternoon, Isolated showers, windy with a south-southwest wind with gusts as high as 55 mph. Tonight, partly cloudy with a low around 26. Windy, with west wind 24 to 34 mph decreasing to 13 to 23 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 55 mph.
