Dispatch: Arrests; Intox driver caught; Scam foiled; Man breaks apart a fence and assaults driver

Here is Friday's recap of law enforcement activity around the county. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests:* *Rodney Littlemouth*, 39, Fort Washakie, Public Intoxication. He was arrested after police were called to an apartment on Custer after 6 p.m. for a report of an intoxicated man who pulled a knife on someone. The knife allegation was determined to be unfounded. *Kevin Anderson*, 58, Lander, Driving Under the Influence, Improper Turn and No Proof of Insurance. *Calls:* At 10:56 a.m., a caller on South Second reported that someone called her, asking for personal information in order to send her money. The local recognized the scam and did not give away any information. Lander Police assisted firefighters with a power pole that briefly caught fire during yesterday afternoon's wind storm. Police assisted with a number of issues involving local juveniles throughout the afternoon. Three unknown subjects, possibly teens, stole three packs of cigarettes from a convenience store. Follow-up is continuing. At 10:22 p.m., firefighters were called about a couple debris piles that were being burnt behind a house on North Lane. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* *Arrests/citations:* *Michael Ruby Jr*., 35, Riverton, DUI and Open Container. *Tracy Spence*, 48, Riverton, DUI. Spence was arrested after deputies were called at 6:46 p.m. on Thursday for a report of a car in a ditch off Missouri Valley Road. *John Stephenson*, 20, Dallas, Texas, Underage Consumption and Possession of a Controlled Substance. *Chad Younger*, 19, Lander, Underage Consumption and on a Sublette County Warrant. The two were arrested after marijuana was allegedly discovered at Central Wyoming College's bunkhouse in at the Sinks Canyon Center. *A 16-year-old gir*l was issued a citation for Battery after a fight between two juveniles. *Calls:* A fraudulent caller told a local that she had won the lottery and then later called back and made threats. A report of possible forgery in the county was reported Thursday afternoon and is undergoing investigation. *Riverton Police Department * *Arrests/citations* *Cordell Washington*, 42, Ethete, Larceny, Battery, Property Destruction and Interference of 911 call. According to a police report, a Male subject observed Cordell Washington and a female in a fenced area of a local business, The male asked them to get off the property at which time Cordell Washington broke down some of the fencing and then approached the male and entered his vehicle without permission. The driver then pulled Washington out of his vehicle when Washington punched the male in the face several times. The driver attempted to call 911 but Washington grabbed his phone and threw it on the ground breaking it. The victim was a 52-year-old male from Riverton who suffered a bloody nose but did not require medical attention. *Steven Trosper*, 21, Riverton, Public Intoxication *Kenneth Shakespeare,* 30, of Arapahoe, Public Intoxication *Calls * *There were 31 calls for service* The RPD was called at 7:51 a.m. to an address in the 1200 block of East Monroe where a 15-year-old girl was refusing to get out of bed. A report is pending. A family fight between a man and wife was reported at 11:52 a.m. in the 500 block of East Fremont. They were separated. A report of a child in need of supervision was received at 5:56. The call came from SageWest-Riverton. Police were called to an address on Crow Avenue on an allegation children being in a filthy house where drugs were being used. The report was unfounded. The house was clean and an RPD report indicated there were no signs of any wrongdoing. A 40-year-old Riverton man is a suspect in an assault on a 30-year-old man who suffered serious facial injuries and was choking on blood. The victim was air-lifted to another hospital for specific treatment of his facial wounds. An investigation is ongoing. *Fremont County Ambulance* EMS crews responded to 14 calls for service. *Fire Departments* Firefighters responded to four calls for service on Thursday.
