Riverton School board to act on Early Learning Center tonight

(Riverton, Wyo.) - The Riverton School Board tonight will make a decision on the Early Learning Center and Kinder-Boost programs following a work session at 5:30 p.m. at the Central Office. The agenda for tonight's 7 p.m. regular meeting includes a recommendation from Superintendent Terry Snyder to authorize the administration to proceed with the development of the two early childhood education programs. The decision on reconfiguration, and where those programs would be housed, will be put off until the board's March 8th meeting. Other items include an out-of-state travel request for the Key Club to attend its district convention in Colorado, to purchase a 2016 Suburban for $42,180, and accept the resignation of Business Manager Michael Collins at the end of the current school year. #county10 #news
