Atlantic City Federal Credit Union is happy to announce they have launched their C.A.R.E.S. Program for 2016. In 2015, the CARES Program raised over $20,000 in just 4 short months. This money was then donated to over 30 non-profits, with a primary focus on three Fremont County non-profits chosen by ACFCU. You can read the full story here
"If a member would take out a loan with us, then the credit union in turn,
would make a donation in the member's name to a non-profit of their
choice," explains Brian Rohrbacher, CEO & President.
ACFCU is continuing the tradition again this year, beginning this month
through the end of March. This year, the credit union will focus on the
following local charities:
*Lander Backpack Program-* "The Friday Backpack Program was designed to
feed needy students on the weekends and we pack food bags and deliver them
on Fridays and they have food for the weekend and then they bring it back
on Monday... we are run by volunteers and funded through grants and
donations," says Stephanie Harris with the Backpack Program.

donating food to those in need since.
*Chance Phelps Foundation- *A local foundation, based in Dubois "Serves to
bring awareness to the military and the sacrifices they have made. They
strive to improve the quality of life of and lessen the burden for those
people who have done so much for our country," explains Kristy Carper, Vice

"Our CARES Program is our way of giving back to our community, and back
especially to people in need," says Charlie Smith, ACFCU Board Chair.
