(Pitchengine Communities) * (Fremont County, Wyo.) - Five local teams earned a trip to the Wyoming State Basketball Championships in regional play this weekend in Lander and Riverton. At Lander, 16 Class 1-A teams fought a trip to Casper, and two of those who made the grade were from the St. Stephens Indian School. Both the Eagles and Lady Eagles made it to title game in their regional, with the Lady Eagles grabbing the top seed from the West and the Eagle boys grabbing the number two seed. In Riverton, the Wind River Cougars captured the boys championship and the number one seed from the West, while the Wyoming Indian Lady Chiefs earned the number two seed and the Chiefs boys winning the third seed.
